Volunteer with GMFA
GMFA is run entirely by volunteers. Every coach, committee member and game-day helper makes football possible for local kids. You don't need to know football: bring a few hours and a willingness to help. Email info@thegmfa.ca to get started.

Before you volunteer
All GMFA volunteers need:
- A vulnerable sector check every calendar year (anyone 19 or older). Send a copy to vsc@thegmfa.ca. If you don't have one on file, we'll email you the package.
- An NCCP number and three short online courses in The Locker: Safe Sport Training (Direct Athlete Contact), Making Headway in Football, and Understanding the Rule of Two. GMFA covers the fees once you complete them.
