How practices are run

Our coach manuals show the skills and drills taught at each age, so you know what your child is working on. Coach manuals: coming soon.

Game day

  • Flag games are usually held on the weekends
  • Arrive early so players can warm up with their team

Safety

  • GMFA follows its Concussion, Heat Safety, Lightning Safety and Air Quality protocols (see By-Laws, Policies & Protocols)
  • Every player wears a mouthguard, flag included
  • Tell your coach about any injury, even a minor one
  • Concerns can be raised through Safe Sport reporting

Parent code of conduct

Cheer for every player, respect the officials, and leave the coaching to the coaches. Every family agrees to the GMFA Code of Conduct & Ethics when they register.
